Lab 1

Part A of Lab was a way of learning to use the tools given in Rhino, and they were used to make the different shapes. I used the various curves to create different objects and manipulated them in order to get the final image pattern in the image.

Part B of the lab was to learn how to use the surface tools in Rhino and create different objects using the commands that where given to us. I created two objects for each tool in order to get familiar with them and continued working with them on other projects.

Part C was to learn how to use the solid tools in order to create different objects and be able to manipulate the as well. I did two different renditions of each tool and made them different in order to see the difference between different objects.

Part D was to create some type of object using the different tools we learned to use. I made something simple that could hold small objects inside and made two of them using the cube, sphere, and a cone to make this object. I then used different surface tools and solid tools in order to cut down and manipulate the different shapes.

Part E was to model an existing object and I decided to do The Companion Cube. With the use of a picture and different curves I created an outline of a surface, then copied it onto a cube surface. I then extruded the lines to create a companion like cube object, and ended up with an amazing object. I still have a couple of things I need to tweak on the cube but its an amazing object that I work hard on.
